Description
This is my 1991 Peugeot 205 GTi 1. 6. It has an MOT which expires in April next year. It was resprayed by a previous owner, and it looks like it was a very quick job as it is slightly peeling in some areas around the roof. The interior isn’t original, it's from a 1. 9 Miami edition. The car idles a bit higher than you would expect and takes a while to start from cold and it runs a little bit lumpy for the first minute or so, but fine after a little bit of driving. I installed a Piper 270 cam and stainless manifold, and the above issues have only happened since then so I'd suspect it's related to that. Overall it's running and driving okay. I replaced the head gasket, cambelt, water pump and cylinder head in January this year and there’s no bottom end rebuilds that I know of. The paint is peeling a bit around the window seals, looks like it was painted straight over paint, I had the bonnet painted in January too when the head was done. There is a dent on the drivers side front wing behind the indicator which I’ve tried to make a bit better with some polish but it’s still quite noticeable. Speedo broke about a year ago, I think it’s just the cable as I got it working again with a bodge but has stopped again.
