Description
This 2001 model year Audi RS4 Avant is a right-hand-drive wagon produced for the Australian market, and it has accumulated 27k kilometers (~17k miles) over three owners since it was sold new through Audi Solitaire in South Australia and has been with its current owner for five years.
Finished in special order Ebony Black Pearl (Z9W) over light grey Alcantara/ leather. Paint protection film has been applied to portions of the exterior. A microsuede-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 320-km/ h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2. 7-liter V6 linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and Quattro all-wheel-drive. Equipment includes a power sunroof, xenon headlights, fog lights, and 18” alloy wheels as well as automatic climate control and a CD/ cassette stereo.
The RS4 was built by quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm, Germany, and features widened wheel arches along with revised bumpers, grilles, and side skirts compared with contemporary A4 and S4 models.
Details include a tilting-and-sliding sunroof, aluminum roof rails and mirror caps, xenon headlights, fog lights, and twin exhaust outlets.
Nine-spoke 18” alloy wheels are mounted with 255/ 35 Toyo Proxes Sport 2 tires. The RS4 rides on a lower and stiffer suspension as well as a track 51mm wider at the front and 40mm wider at the rear compared to the S4. Braking is handled by four-wheel anti-lock discs, and the system fluid was replaced in August 2025.
The Recaro seats are trimmed in light grey leather, and the front bucket seats are heated and power-adjustable. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and amenities include automatic climate control, a CD/ cassette sound system, and cruise control.
Developed by Cosworth Technology and equipped with twin BorgWarner K04 turbochargers and upgraded internals, the RS4’s 30-valve 2. 7-liter V6 was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system with a Torsen center differential. The transaxle oil cooler line O-rings were replaced in August 2025.
An Australian approval plaque is riveted to the right-front strut tower along with a second plaque showing a “Built Date” of 09/ 00.
RS4 Avant is now offered in Perth, Western Australia, with literature and original service records. International shipping arrangements welcomed, subject to terms and conditions. 1 of 50 B5 RS4 examples sold in Australia with extremely low mileage. Unusual spec of special order Ebony Black Pearl paint and grey Alcantara/ leather interior with Alcantara covered steering wheel and shifter. It has zero corrosion having been stored in dry climates.
