Replacement Steering Rack, Front drive shafts, engine and subframe mounts
Aircon fully serviced in August 25: works perfectly
New catalytic convertor, O2 sensor
Service included Oil, air, Fuel filter, Auto-transmission oil, antifreeze replacement
The only MOT advisory: ‘corroded Exhaust’: please note that his is only the rear tail pipe section that is rusted, the Catalytic converter was replaced this year, and the main mid-silencer is in perfect order. (the part to replace the rear section with upgraded additional silencer is £67).
The car is in excellent mechanical order; it does have a few minor cosmetic items (scuffed bumper corner, dent to rear arch) but has no rust, its very solid and polishes up well. Has leather seats and upgraded crystal headlights. The timing belt has been renewed twice, at 50k and 107k, so its good for another 100, 000miles or 10 years (as per Volvo maintenance service interval).
This is the B5252 engine, so no turbo or electronic throttle to go wrong, it is an excellent and reliable daily driver and modern classic.
Owned for 4 years, I had so much work completed as I planned to keep the car a (very) long time, unfortunately due to circumstances it now needs a new home.
