Unfortuantely, it's now time to sell my 2003 Jaguar XKR 4. 2 supercharged in stunning Zircon blue with lovely walnut wood.
This isn't just any Jaguar XK8. This is the XKR; the high-performance, supercharged variant of the XK8. The XKR also has improved brakes (noticeable with the calipers) and a sportier suspension system.
This is the XKR with the much improved, uprated 4. 2 litre engine over the earlier 4. 0 litre example. The 4. 2 litre engine in this example boasts 400Bhp over the earlier 370Bhp example.
The 4. 2 litre engine is also thought to be a more reliable unit, not suffering from the timing tensioner and guide issues that the earlier 4. 0 litre unit suffered from.
4. 2 Litre examples like this also have the much improved ZF 6-speed gearbox over the 5-speed found in earlier examples. Cruising RPM at 70 is nice and low.
This XKR is in stunning condition all around. Metallic Zircon blue is a lovely colour, and the rich walnut wood interior trim really sets off against the cream interior.

The wheels were only refurbished ealrier this year. They really do look the part.
