Rover Meteor Regal . 1931 model , 2565 cc 6 cylinder. Only a few miles done since rebuild in 2010 Now now retired & moved to France so have to part with her. Very original, all chrome excellent. I think lack of use has made the carburettor requiring a clean and the clutch is a bit sticky. Otherwise nothing to do but polish it every day ! The Rover is 1. 75 m high and 1. 95m long. The 1931 Rover cars, which ranged from the worm-driven Rover Ten at only £189 for a saloon up to the 2. 6-litre, 60bhp Meteor 20 Rover car with prices from £398. This last Rover car was evolved into a pleasant 90mph sports model which Rover car won its class in the 1933 RAC Rally. Very imposing car. Looks good even standing still. Practical to drive as large engine & servo brakes. Was my Grandfathers car from 1931 and recovered from his garage in 1969 .
