Meet my K-reg Beetle convertible project. It’s a striking purple/ black custom with matching interior and a soft-top. Stored off the road for a while and now offered exactly as pictured as a straightforward recommissioning project. Simple air-cooled mechanics, huge parts support, and a great winter build ready to enjoy next season.

• Not currently MOT’d and not in regular use. Assume it needs full recommissioning before road use (fluids, fuel system clean, brakes, battery/ electrics, tyres, etc.).
• Body/ paint show age and marks in places; ideal to use as-is or tidy to your standard.
• Soft-top complete with typical age-related wear.
• Trailer or recovery truck required.
Paperwork / provenance
• V5C / log book not currently in hand. Previous keeper did not supply it.
• I’m applying for a replacement via DVLA form V62. Buyer is welcome to continue/ complete the process.
• Full bill of sale will be provided.
• Comes with an official Volkswagen “birth certificate” / Classic Parts pack (see photos) showing:
