Excellent condition, 25 years old and bodywork immaculate for year, no scratches, dents or rust. Lots of money spent in last 3 years, including preventative maintenance. Suspension is smooth and tight. Engine, clutch and gearbox strong, major service completed in Dec 24.
Finished in Arctic Silver with 17 inch alloy wheels, two new rear Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres (Nov-25), front two tyres also Bridgestone with plenty of tread remaining.
Comes with two keys and a full history file. MOT until December 2026, last 5 MOT green with no advisories
Bodywork and interior detailed and roof waterproof protection fresh. Overall excellent for it's 25 year age, odd small blemish consummate with age. Air conditioning, heating, ventilation, mirrors, seats, lights and folding roof all operate as they should.
Everything has been kept original and appears that earlier owners have also looked after the car very well.
During my ownership the car has been used occasionally, always stored clean. Use avoided in winter conditions.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my ownership and spent money where needed, but I'm selling with a view to purchasing a new car.
Vehicle registered: 06/ 07/ 2000This was my entry into Porsche ownership. I entered it knowing that the 986 Boxster was an excellent car, with unique and precise handling. I was blown away at how good it handles and rides. It's more grown up cruiser than I expected, but knuckles down and handles tightly on a good road.
I've always taken the view that a car needs money spending on it regularly to keep it in top, and original, condition. I've spent money where it matters and the result is an excellent example.
The car is spotless, it's 25 years old with 76, 000 miles, for those years it is in amazing condition, showing some minor cosmetic wear consummate with what you'd expect for a car of this age.
It is a shame to let it go, but I am changing due to a desire for another Porsche. This particular 986 Boxster S will be ingrained in my memory as one of the best cars I've owned.
