Minor cosmetic points: bubbling on driver’s door bottom; light paint pitting on roof and front wings
A charming, dependable classic you can drive and enjoy straight away with only light cosmetic work needed if desired. I bought Nelson the Traveller from a gentleman who had owned him since the 1990s and had known the car since the 1970s. His long custodianship gives the car a wonderful sense of continuity, and I’m happy to share his details with the next keeper.
Nelson has that iconic Morris Minor reliability and a distinctive exhaust rasp on deceleration that never fails to raise a smile. Inside, he carries the traditional scent of varnish and petrol, a time capsule from 1969 that makes every drive feel special.
I’ve driven him all over the country, from weekend jaunts to long scenic routes, and he’s never let me down. Sadly, I’m selling him only because I’m relocating to Australia, where I’ll be taking my other classic with me.
Nelson isn’t just a car, he’s a companion with character, history, and the reassuring dependability that makes the Morris Minor such a beloved British classic.
