Description
For sale is my beloved Jaguar XJ X300 Sovereign 4. 0L which I have owned for 11 years, used regularly and maintained to a very high standard. I bought this car in 2014 and have used it regularly ever since, doing trips around town or longer trips away occasionally and it has never let me down. As usable classics go, the X300 has got to be up there among the best. I've spent a lot of money keeping it maintained and everyone who sees it now comments how much they love it. Sadly with a new baby, it's time to pass it on to someone else. It runs beautifully, the oatmeal leather interior is in very good condition aside from a little wear on the driver's seat and a few little nicks here and there.
In the past 2 years it has had a complete overhaul on the bodywork with complete respray all over in original and correct Sapphire Blue (photos of process if needed). It now looks like new! Cost over £4k. It has also had welding work to jacking points and seat wells to make sure that everything is solid (cost over £2k).
Air con has been overhauled with new compressor and condensor.
4 x new Michelin Cross Climate tyres in 2024 with wheel alignment.
Refurbished original radio with aux cable output.
All LEDs on control panel fixed.
New stepper motor in 2024 (makes a huge difference to overall running).
Brakes overhauled with new bushes, discs, pads, ABS sensors, etc in 2023 (over £2k).
Kiwi wheels refurbished and diamond cut in 2021.
2 x new exhausts 2020.
Suspension overhaul in December 2025 with new OEM springs/ shocks all round. Wishbone arms with bushes and ball joints both sides (over £1600).
Many other items in regular services in my ownership.
BRAND NEW MOT WITH NO ADVISORIES, EXPIRES DECEMBER 2026.
Work has been done by Jag specialists around London: RA Creamer, Jag Shop (Goldhawk Rd), The Jag Workshop and SE Jags.
Comes with original booklet, service stamps, a ton of paperwork and old MOTs etc. 6 CD changer in boot, all working.
Alarm system has been disconnected as it was playing up and i don't mind just using the key. I have the fobs still if you want to fix it. I have spare set of keys. I've added lockable fuel cap but have the original too.
All in all a great car that's had the money spent on it to give it another 30 years. Comfortable but also very fast when needed.(esp in Sports Mode). Mileage just over 90k which is very low for these cars (it was 53k when i bought it in 2014).
