Description

We are pleased to offer an original Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV Series 1.
Among Alfa enthusiasts, this model is often regarded as the most successful of the Alfa Romeo Bertone coupes. The 1750 engine offers both excellent torque and impressive high-rev performance. The interior is particularly noteworthy — finished with black leather Zagato sport seats and Ferrari-like instrumentation, making it one of the most elegant and distinctive cabin designs of its era.

This is an early 1968 model, featuring the rare and beautiful taillights with metal rings, as well as the integrated front bumper turn signals unique to the first-series cars. The color, Giallo Ocra (AR-109), is a period-correct and rare hue that suits the car perfectly.

The car drives exceptionally well. It starts easily, whether hot or cold, and the engine runs smoothly without valve or cam-chain noise. It pulls strongly and delivers all of its original 122 hp. The gearbox shifts cleanly without grinding, the differential is quiet, and the car tracks straight on the motorway while feeling composed on winding roads.

The interior is in excellent condition. The carpets and front seats appear almost new, while the rear seat shows only a few small cracks on the upper surface (left hand side). The headlining and sun visors are in very nice condition. The jack and spare wheel are present, and all instruments and switches function properly.

Many items that are often missing from older Alfas are included here: the complete aluminum and steel air-filter box, the original spare wheel, jack and spare keys. A documentation folder plus the original Finnish plates accompanies the car, confirming its history and provenance.

The body retains partly original paint, with some areas having been repaired. It shows a light, attractive patina of use — something we would personally preserve, as a car is only original once.

Alfa’s classic coupe, affectionately known as the “Bertone Coupe,” offers everything an enthusiast could want: elegant design, excellent driving dynamics, and surprising practicality. Owners are typically passionate enthusiasts — and after one drive on winding roads, it’s easy to see why. The sound is absolutely heavenly, reminiscent of a slightly muted thoroughbred racing car. This is pure, unfiltered driving pleasure, this is passionConclusion
This Alfa Romeo can be enjoyed exactly as it is and represents something increasingly rare today: a true “survivor.” An original car that has been carefully maintained throughout its life but never fully disassembled or restored.

We are selling the car on behalf of the owner, who does not have the time to handle the sale personally. Viewings are welcome, and for serious buyers, we will be happy to demonstrate the car with one of us behind the wheel.

This is a unique opportunity to acquire a very early 1750 Series 1 finished in a stunning color with an extremely rare Zagato interior.
