YAM24, your YAMAHA dealership in Perigueux / Boulazac (05 53 53 88 42) offers a SUZUKI RG 400 (Japanese import) as it was not sold in Europe at the time. Fully restored motorcycle starting with the engine, which has been rebored, with a new piston, repainting of the fairings, new fork tubes, chain kit, tyres and new brake pads. All bearings have been replaced as well, from the swingarm to the steering head. The four K7-type carburettors have been ultrasonically cleaned and the needles are new. Photos of the restoration available. A 500 deco kit was used because a 400 could not be found, but it’s identical apart from the displacement. Approximately 120 hours were needed to rebuild the bike.
