The car had been left on a neighbours driveway for 8 years before I purchased in September 2022. The previous owner before this is a close friend and the car was driven daily.
I have spent the last three years working on the car to bring it to todays standard.

Brake calipers dismantled sand blasted and rebuilt

Water Pump Pulleys
Auxillary Belts
Headlight Adjusters
Rear upper and lower wishbone suspension arms
Rear drop links
Rear lower arm bushings
Rear track control arm links
Both Rear jacking points welded
Window switches replaced
Sunroof switch replaced
Door lock actuators
Badges replaced
Alloy wheels powder coated
Hub caps replaced
Bolts all round for new wheels
Bonnet, wings and spoiler reprayed
Serviced with Castrol 5W-30 LL
Mahle Oil filter
Bosch Air filter
Mahle Fuel filter
New battery
Car has had a serious spend on it and I have spent countless hours working on it. It works flawlessly and it is a true joy to drive.
Things to note:
Small scuff on rear bumper and paint is starting to bubble on nearside rear quarter near door.
Alpina splitter has chips and needs re spraying.
Clutch has not been done in its life so will be required in the next 10k miles.
Stain on passenger seat needs work to remove. I have cherished this car for many years.
I have many fond memories that myself and my family recall including taking my friends to school and myself today doing the school run in this car.
The car cruises so effortlessly and makes commuting enjoyable and I hope the new owners will be just as happy as I am owning it. I will be sad to part with it but I am ready for my next project.
