1989 F reg peugeol 205 GTI 1. 9l NON CAT PH1. 5, WHITE, NON SUNROOF.
Seems a rare car to find with out a sunroof, non power steering, has electric windows and a aftermarket radio.
A very reluctant sale, owned this car for 11 years, in this time iv had alot of great journeys and done alot of work.
9 years ago I did a whole engine overhaul, including a full engine rebuild kit from pug1off, spent alot of money and time and gave the engine bay a refresh.
5 years ago, I took it off road and did alot of rust repairs, and at this time have the rear suspension a refurbish and bits on the front suspension, it had all of the fuel lines and brake lines replaced, disks and pads and new tyres.
In the 11 years iv owned it. Nearly everything mechanical has been done.
Obviously the car is 36 years old (nearly 37), its not going to be perfect, the car is 100% usable, iv been taking it to car show the past few years, but a few of the items that require attention are...
Worst of all, there is a rust bubble on the roof next to the areal, any good bodyshop can do this.
Small sections of rust starting on the boot lid, around the rear window seal.
Seats are incorrect for the vehicle (from a ph2) and have tears on the drivers side.
Passenger window works fine, but it the window goes all the way down it pops off its runner.
Lastly, alot of the tidying up iv done mainly in the engine bay, due to my garage has made it look aged again, nothing to worry about, just could do with a tidy up.
Obviously the mileage is high, but the engine rebuild was done about 20k miles ago.
The last few years, il literally done no more than a few hundred miles, it always gets at least a oil change done at mot time no matter the milage done that year.
Iv got a folder full of receipts from the last 11 years and a smaller folder that I got from the previous owner with pictures of a full respray it had.
I will also supply a usb full of all the pictures I have taken during the repair work that iv done.
Im not in a real rush to sell this car so im more than happy to wait for the right offer.

As said before, this is a very reluctant sale, I absolutely love this car, put alot of time and money into this car and I will be absolutely heartbroken when it sells.

I really do not want to sell this car but its just got to the point in my life to move it on to another loving owner.
Its a non sunroof gti which you do not see many around any more so makes this 205 a little more desirable.
