Description
Ford Thames 400E van
First registered 13th May 1963 - AFK 323A.
The 1703cc engine has been sent for rebuild where it still resides and this work can be completed at the buyers additional cost, or engine returned back for rebuild to be arranged by the buyer. Some new engine parts were purchased, including pistons, piston rings, and liners, ready for the engine rebuild.
The chassis is in great, rust free, solid condition and work has been started to treat that. The bodywork will need some work to make ready for painting, or the lovely natural patina retained as is. There are some dents and imperfections though no rust is apparent anywhere.
Gutters are solid and free of rust.
The interior is solid and wood flooring is ready to install. Dashboard is complete and ready to recommission. The van has the rare side door on the near side.
We have all parts for the van, including engine cover, fuel tank, gearbox, spare rear door, front grille, etc.
All new brake parts and liners have been purchased and fitted.
