For sale is my 2003 Jaguar XJ X350 Super V8 SWB. Mechanically in good condition and drives well for its age and mileage. The engine and gearbox perform as they should.
The car has MOT until the end of March-26 with very clean MOT history and history backed by paperwork.
The car does need some attention:
. Cosmetic work required (age-related marks and wear)
. Needs a new battery
. Rear arm passenger side suspension arm needs fitting as it currently has minor shaking under breaking - part is already included
. Power folding mirrors do not work, the mirror still works as expected just expect for them folding in
. Minor engine oil leak
. Slightly hanging sunroof cover
. Needs new heated glass mirror on driver side due slight discolouration
. Needs tracking as is drifting to the left
. Has a minor exhaust blow on drivers side backbox
. Current engine light with intermittent restricted performance
. Airbag does not work
. Needs new front chrome trim as clip is broken
The XJ would greatly benefit from a wheel refurbished and a full service as it is approaching 4, 000 miles since its last service this time last year. It could also benefit from a brake fluid change.
The reason for sale is I know longer use the car as much as I would like to.
This is a solid base for someone who wants a project, or a great and affordable entry into Jaguar ownership. I have priced the car accordingly and fairly to reflect mileage and work needed to bring this up to scratch. I have done just over 3000 miles with 90% of this mileage being on the motorway due to me originally purchasing the vehicle to use for long distance.
It is a very rare example of the Jaguar X350 platform with it being Super V8 short wheel base. The Super V8 is a more comfort oriented setup in contrast to the XJR still featuring the same power from the 4. 2 Supercharged V8.
This car in Jaguar Racing Green really stand out and works well with the tasteful modifications of the XJR front grill and the 19inch XJR wheels including the full size spare in the boot.
The X350 platform is an all aluminium making it lightweight and doesn’t leave you concern it is going to rust away which paired with the supercharged V8 will be something I miss deeply.
I have had many great road trips in this car greatly testing its reliability and comfort by making use of its creature comforts such as as adaptive cruise control, heated steering wheels and seats paired with all round air suspension.
