· The body is aluminium, so it is free from the rust issues that affected earlier models.
· My mechanic was impressed by the significant investment in maintenance by the previous owner(s). The underside, suspension, and numerous components are in exceptional, near-new condition.
· It has been a joy to drive over the 700+ miles I’ve owned it, offering a luxurious and capable ride whether in town or on the motorway.

· Sagging headlining
· Radio powers on, but there is currently no audio from the speakers

· Air conditioning does not blow cold
· No physical service history is present (though the mechanical condition speaks volumes)
I believe these points could be rectified without a major investment, and they simply haven’t been a priority for me as I’ve enjoyed driving it so much. In fact, I’ve enjoyed the Jaguar experience enough to upgrade to its supercharged sibling, an XJR.
This car is an incredible way to own a piece of classic Jaguar motoring for a very reasonable sum. It’s perfect as a distinctive daily driver or a rewarding weekend cruiser that offers immense presence and performance.
