My partner and I have decided to sell our Mercedes-Benz 280S which we found in South Africa two years ago we shipped her back to the UK where she is now registered, we had a few new parts, rebuilt the carburettor and went through the entire brake system.
The car is very original, never been welded and has no need of any welding having come from the dry northern part of South Africa. The interior is all original, leather and in great condition. The engine has had a full rebuild and has plenty of power. We have a large history file with the car. It was purchased from a gentleman who was a friend of the family of the original owner who was a managing director for Siemens CB radios in South Africa hence the car being fitted with two ariels. The car is in fantastic condition, drives beautifully with a full MOT. The bodywork is very good with just a couple of very small stone chips which we plan on getting repaired in the coming weeks and will be happy to get those repairs done before a sale.
