Car went through a full restoration.
What happens during such a complete restoration?
The vehicle is carefully and meticulously disassembled. All components are inspected, and it is assessed whether each part is still usable in order to rebuild the vehicle using refurbished original parts whenever possible.
The vehicle is then stripped of paint, sandblasted (e. g., with water), and the condition of the body is assessed. Any accident damage
or improper repairs, and of course, the extent of corrosion, become visible. The bodywork is expertly restored by us, depending on the necessary work. The panel gaps are then excellent, and all alignment marks, creases, and edges are present.
Once the bodywork is complete, priming and painting follow.
The preservation of the classic car's value is ensured by corrosion protection and the high-quality paint finish. The vehicles are painted, according to your wishes,
in the original paint color or in another period-correct color.
In addition, the entire mechanical system is, of course, overhauled and refurbished. The engine, carburetors, and transmission then run absolutely reliably and with exceptional smoothness.
Furthermore, a particular attention to the details, including those of the exterior. The chrome is polished to a shine, and the hubcaps are painted in a matching color. I have work with experienced surface coaters and electroplaters to achieve the best results. This also applies to the interior.
Depending on its condition and the available options, the leather and the entire interior are refurbished and restored. Everything, of course, is done to match the overall appearance of the vehicle.
The soft top and tonneau cover are re-stitched to the highest quality and fit perfectly. The frame is completely overhauled and partially replaced.
Finally, the vehicle is fully reassembled. All tolerances are precisely adjusted, and the vehicle is test-driven.
All seals are replaced to create a perfect, flawless vehicle, earning a top rating of 1+.
