Totally original 1983 Ferrari Mondial QV in classic red over tan. Genuine two owner car - I have owned it for just over four years. Extensive and comprehensive history going back to the original purchase from HR Owen of Mayfair. The car still has its dealer registration plates, tax disc holder and dealer sticker in the back window. Extensive and long service history plus lots of documentation including the handbook, service book, MOTs, instructions for the dealer fit Pioneer stereo (working) and the original bill of sale. Also present are both factory Ferrari toolkits complete with spare wheel jack and spare bulbs. Work carried out during my ownership at marque specialist Migliore Cars in Bromsgrove includes:
New cam belt, fuel accumulator and full service April last year.
New clutch slave cylinder and water pump.
New set of red HT leads.
Yearly major services.
New Bosch battery (to replace the cheap one the supplying dealer fitted).
In addition I had a custom exhaust fabricated by Ryan Edwards at Bicester Heritage to make sure it sounds like a Ferrari should - standard the are a bit quiet (I still have the original exhaust if required). A brand new set of Michelin TRX tyres were fitted as part of the original sale back in January 2021. I bought this car a little over four years ago. It's been a total delight - it's thrilling to drive (the mechanicals are identical to the 308/ 328. Five speed gated manual gear box with a dog leg first gear so you feel like Michele Alboreto on his weekend off. I've taken it to Le Mans Classic twice, most recently last summer. I also drove it across Europe to the Italian Grand Prix in 2023, including a stop off where it was born, Maranello. Regularly gets prime parking outside the hanger at the Sunday Scramble at Bicester Heritage.
It's fast, comfortable and surprisingly practical with a big boot and two useless rear seats for more luggage.
It always gets loads of attention when I'm out and about, even owners of newer Ferraris give me a honk and a wave. Pop up headlights, side strakes, manual steering - what more could you want?
