Regrettably I am advertising my 1974 R4L. Due to loss of storage space I will be unable to continue to store the vehicle and would prefer another enthusiast enjoys her.
Imported in 2015 this R1126 has the smaller 748cc engine. All fluids and filters have been changed, along with the water pump and hoses. The engine runs superbly, having had a carburettor overhaul.
Both the bodywork and the chassis are in excellent order with minimal corrosion and just a few age-related dents. The burgundy interior is also in perfect condition. The car has obviously spent most of its 51 years in France - hence is very well preserved indeed. It has has a respray at some point in its life.
All suspension components are in excellent order and drives very well - if a little leisurely given the small engine!
The car has new window trims, door seals, door handle seals and genuine chrome door mirrors fitted. There is a large selection of spare parts to go with the car. I also have a brand new, boxed aluminium grille as well - needless to say this cost a small fortune and is very rare - this would be available separately upon sale, by negotiation.
