Description
2. 4 TDCi Land Rover Defender in white.
Rear window and bulk head conversion kit (allowing the seat to go further back) installed by the previous owner. 164k miles. Did a long trip around Europe with no issues. 4x nearly new Michelin Latitude tyres. A few dents and scrapes from the previous owner. A chip on the windscreen which has not been an issue. Slightly noisy clutch when not engaged. Chassis is in really good condition with only minor surface rust. 12 months MOT (no advisories for the last years)
I have fitted out a camper in the back. This includes:
Electrics with three inputs : a DC to DC charger to charge the leisure battery when driving, 140W solar panel on the roof (needs to be refitted onto a roof rack but the plugs are up there and the solar panel is included with the Land Rover) and mains plug in option too. And 12v and 240v (with an inverter) outputs. Recessed black dimmable lights in the ceiling. All Victron so good quality, installed with a comprehensive wiring diagram that I will also share with buyer.
Birch ply cabinets and pull out bed, allowing the back to be turned into a small double bed.
Fully insulated with Dodo Matt 30mm closed cell insulation.
Upholstered with heavy duty black canvas ontop of 50mm mattress foam cushions.
Curved stainless steel counter top with draining sink and recessed plugs.
Insulated blinds.
Three riveted aluminium boxes have been sunk into the benches at the back to give additional storage.
All camper related additions have been well documented on a YouTube video that can be shared with the buyer.
Two Front Runner Jerry can holders can also be included which I found essential for extra water and fuel capacity on long trips. I also have a Lattitude roof tent for sale which I used on the Land Rover with the roof rack (roof rack is now on another Land Rover)
