XR3i 1983 LHD TAX AND MOT EXEMPT
I bought the car in 2021 in France. It had had 2 owners from new who cherished the car. There is a stack of paperwork (French) which comes with the car. The car has never been welded and doesn’t need any as you can see from the pictures and is absolutely solid. The car has spent most of its life in Bordeaux and rust is not an issue.
I have fitted a new fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, tyres etc. The car runs very well, I had it MOT’d in 2021 and 2023 and as you can see from the kilometres I’ve hardly used the car hence the reason for selling.
The interior is in excellent condition apart from the usual Ford dashboard top cracking. There isn’t a radio fitted, however I have obtained a period radio which is included as seen in pics.
There are a couple of places of lacquer peeling, I tried to repair one (see pics) not very successfully. There are a couple of small dents, however the bodywork is solid with no rot.
If you are looking for a Mk3 XR3i that has not been welded and patched up this could be the one for you. It comes with a large file of receipts from France including full service history, original purchase receipt and original handbooks etc.
