I've had this for almost a year and it's time to move it on. It's been a brilliant, comfortable and fast car with no major issues.
In the time I've owned it, it's not needed much but has had:
- Front wheel bearing.
- ABS unit replacement and brake fluid flush and change.
-Brake pads.
-Fully refurbished XKR alloy wheels with new tyres.
-Fully leather steering wheel and gear knob.
-AC regas.
-Offside rear silencer.
It has full service history, 2 keys and remotes and a new headlining.
The car was compression tested when I bought it (a classic car restorer which I can give details of to check any info) and has had the chain tensioners replaced (I have the old ones which were actually still in good condition!)
Rust free which is a rarity for one of these, drives very well and pulls strongly in all gears.
As a 27 year old car, it's not perfect, the central locking is a bit temperamental with the remote but works perfectly with the key and the auto lights function doesn't work but overall a very good example of a modern classic Jag that's been well looked after. This is a car everyone should experience once. It gets attention everywhere it goes, it's very quick but ultra refined, even at this age. Timeless Jag shape, in my opinion, the best they ever made.
