Description
I’m only selling my XJR6 as I had the opportunity to buy an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. So with the new addition unfortunately I have to let the Jag go. I really want it to go to an enthusiast. I’ve had three XJ X300s before I bought this XJR, it was the natural progression to get the full fat version. It’s in Antigua metallic blue with oatmeal leather. The car has had a lot of money spent on it over the years, and been looked after, that’s why I bought it. Just over four years ago it had a full respray by Painting Classic Cars at the cost of £6500. Three years ago Powerhouse automotive rebuilt the M90 supercharger at a cost of £760. The previous owner replaced the fuel lines, replaced brake hoses with braided ones from Swallows. Replaced the shocks with original Bilstein green shock absorbers and standard rate and height XJR springs. All this work was documented in Jaguar Enthusiast magazine November ‘22 edition. I have a copy of the magazine which will come with the car. The alloys are in excellent condition, the tyres are the correct size 255/ 45/ 17 Dunlop Sport Maxx GT the car has new brake disks and pads all round. The car has traction control, limited slip differential, air conditioning, the clock has been refurbished, the radio, tape, and CD changer works but the LCD is blurry. It has a fitted rubber boot liner, and a full size spare wheel and jack. The leather interior is in good condition both front electric seats work, the wood trim is good, it has the optional extra wood around the door switches, it has the wood/ leather steering wheel with XJR letter embossed on it. The headlining has started to sag in this recent heat. Underneath is solid. The car is powerful and smooth , the 4. 0 litre supercharged engine picks up when asked, it can really move when needed, but is happy to poodle around most of the time. I get lots of compliments on the car and it was on display at Goodwood for their 20th Anniversary Breakfast Club meeting 3rd May 2026 in the 90s section. Ive really enjoyed owning and driving this car, if I hadn’t bought the DB7 it would not be for sale. Please get in contact if you’d like to know more, it’s a great car that ideally should go to an enthusiast, please come and view, you will not be disappointed. I’m a motivated seller, look forward to hearing from you.
