engine rebuilt from scratch, front brake, both exhaust pipes, rear light... Running gear impeccable, in the break-in phase: The bike is magnificent, starts at the first kick and runs very well. Having idolised and searched for the Thunderbird "Blackbird" for decades, a year ago I finally landed the GRAIL, or nearly, because it was a Tiger, but one that looked so similar! Unfortunately, after inspections, we found it needed a serious restoration, which cost me a lot of money and time... But when you love it, you don’t count, even if I’ve well and truly gone over budget and now, a little painfully, have to part with it.
