Description
2006 Mondial Piega 1000 “Final Edition”
One of Approximately 10 Worldwide | 800 km from New
An exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire a 2006 Mondial Piega 1000 “Final Edition”, one of the most exclusive hand-built superbikes of the modern era. With just 800 km from new, this example presents in near-delivery condition and sits firmly within collector-grade territory.
Built at the conclusion of FB Mondial’s early-2000s revival, the Final Edition represents the ultimate evolution of the Piega—produced in extremely limited numbers, believed to be as few as 10 units worldwide.
At its heart is the revered 999cc V-twin derived from the Honda VTR1000 SP-1, delivering approximately 136 hp and 110 Nm of torque through a 6-speed transmission. Renowned for its durability and torque-rich character, it perfectly complements the bike’s lightweight, race-focused chassis.
Hand-built to an exceptional standard, the Piega features a chrome-molybdenum trellis frame, extensive carbon fibre bodywork, and premium Öhlins suspension, resulting in a dry weight of approximately 179 kg. The riding experience is raw, analogue, and uncompromising—representing a purer era of superbike engineering.
With its ultra-low mileage, end-of-line status, and single-digit production rarity, this Final Edition is not simply a motorcycle, but a highly significant collector asset. As interest continues to grow in analogue, low-production exotics, the Piega occupies an increasingly important place in the modern collector landscape.
