Description
I purchased this motorcycle in 2022. It was the best example of a T160 available at the time and in the four years of my ownership it has been carefully looked after and it is still in immaculate condition. I have never ridden the bike in the wet, nor on salty roads. I have only used premium fuel with a lead substitute additive and the machine has been kept in a garage with a dehumidifier running several hours each day. The bike starts faultlessly and there are no oil leaks. There are a pair of almost new Dunlop TT100 tyres fitted, these have less than 1000 miles on them. The engine and frame numbers are a matching pair.
The bike was imported in 2015 and fully restored to an extremely high standard before I bought it. I have all the receipts from this work which is summarised below.
• Engine rebuilt with new bearings, piston rings, valves, guides, springs, seals etc.
• Gearbox rebuilt with new bearings and seals.
• Carburettors overhauled, with Viton-tip needles, stay-up float kit, Les Williams air box
• Brakes overhauled with new discs and hydraulic pistons.
• Frame painted with two-part epoxy, new wheel bearings, stainless steel wheel rims and spokes.
• New wiring harness, Tri-Spark ignition system and Motobatt battery.
