A 2005 model year has the 4. 2ltr engine, first registered in March 2005 with the latest body style modifications. I have owned it for 10 and a half years since buying it privately in September 2015. It is driven all the year round albeit sparingly in winter months.

Serviced annually and maintained regardless of cost, l have all Bills/ Mot's since 2009.
It has had all shock absorbers replaced over time, upper oxygen sensors, the gearbox oil was changed at 65kmls.

It is solid underneath having with any surface rust removed, with Hammerite and Waxolyed applied.
The 2005 model year body style modifications were to the Rear Bumper, larger Exhaust Tail Finishers and a larger Rear Spoiler. The Side Sills are deeper and it has a larger mouth to the front grille making it look lower and a much sleeker car than previous models.
It has the Technology and Premium Packs with Heated Windscreen, Heated Front Seats (12 way), Headlight Wash,
Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Speed Limiter,
Elm Veneer, Power-Fold Heated Door Mirrors

This car was purchased for its style and colour/ condition whilst owning a 2009 X150 4. 2 convertible at the same time. It is possible to have all the windows down with the hood remaining up for those days when we have scorching sunshine. It has never let me down and it feels like an old friend when you get in, confident that it will start up first time. It is very comfortable no matter how far you drive. It has appeared at many shows and events in Berkshire and Wiltshire in particular over the years. The car acts like a modern day car as it is effortless to drive around towns and just eats up the motorway miles when driving to the Lake District where it is in its element with the hood down. This car is used regularly but NOT for daily shopping. The MoT as previously stated has been renewed with NO Advisories and expires 7th April 2027.
I am a JEC member and the car took part in the Club's promotional photoshoot for the JEC 2019 Festival held at Blenheim Palace.
