The Honda CL100 Scrambler is a rare sight in the UK and this example was manufactured in March 1971. It is in excellent original condition and rides really well. There is some slight paint damage from modern fuel around the filler cap, a small tear in the seat and a small crack in the plastic headlight surround. The CL100 is fully UK registered with the V5C and the odometer reading of just 5048 miles. It's scrambler styling is still a great look today, and it's in remarkably good condition for its 55 year age.
A classic Japanese lightweight four-stroke which will provide reliable and relaxing motorcycling for many years to come. It is MOT and road tax exempt but had a full MOT check on its last service in December 2025.
The machine is well-furnished with a high mount chrome exhaust and heat-shield and the original metallic orange paintwork is in good order. The simple instrument binnacle houses the speedometer, neutral indicator,
high-beam warning light plus odometer.
Having been a display motorcycle in a collection this example was recommissioned in December 2025 with cleaned tank, carb, new fuel tap and refurbed clutch assembly, a new battery and a full service. Before sale it will also have a new pair of fork gaiters and a new throttle cable fitted.
Hopefully a new owner will put this lovely bike to good use because it's far more practical than a classic sports moped with plenty of power and presence to keep up with modern day traffic. Unfortunately, I'm having given up a lifetime of biking on large and small machine due to a serious knee problem.
