1977 BMW Here we have my lovely BMW r100 RS I have owned this since march 2021, previously it had been sat for 21 years in a dry garage, Since my ownership it has been registered as a historic vehicle so is tax and mot exempt. Being an early edition 1977 rs it still has factory fitted spoked wheels, becoming hard to find in this condition. It has had brake and master cylinder rebuild, carb rebuild, new oil sensor and neutral switch, new rubbers and gaiters where required, full service, new battery and new tyres. It is all working as it should. Paintwork has a great shine with the original pinstripe matching on the wheels and tank. Seat grips and instrument cluster all in good working order, even comes with original service book, manual and pump under the seat. I bought this bike to cafe race but soon realised it was to nice and example to simply carve up destroy. This has not been restored but lovingly recommissioned, It has signs of wear(as in picture) but offers that genuine patina which I like, In my ownership I have added 1500 mile but it's time for me to move on, Viewing is welcomed the details below
