Description
The first owner was Miss B Pitcairn of Sevenoaks , Kent. This early 1955 2 speed model, registered 27th October 1955 and bought from Angus Motorcycles, Sevenoaks. I have the original purchase receipt and I, being the second owner, bought it from a Southebys Auction in 1993. Not used in recent years although started occasionally and last run this month when it started, as usual, on the first turn of the pedal. Included but not fitted, a Patrol motor cycle windscreen with all necessary fittings, purpose made Midland pannier bags with all fitting brackets and also leg shields with all 3 fitting brackets for this early model with the exhaust pipe on the left side of the machine, but these leg shields need some work to look decent (see photos). Also included is the V5C certificate, original instruction book, copies of maintenance manual, many old tax discs and other literature. The NSU has its original paint and some of the paint work has over the years been touched up to keep it as original as possible and the bike gets a lot of positive comments from onlookers for this.
