A genuinely rare petrol automatic Clubvan with excellent provenance, exceptional maintenance history and superb condition throughout. Increasingly hard to find in this specification and condition. I bought this car because it is such a rare combination, a petrol automatic Clubvan with a really usable specification and genuine provenance. Most examples are either basic, high mileage or manual, whereas this stands out as a properly well looked after, well specified example that feels different to the usual market.
What really sets it apart is how well it drives for what it is. The 1. 6 petrol engine is smooth and quiet, the automatic gearbox suits the car perfectly and it feels much more refined than you would expect, especially compared to typical small vans or commercial derivatives.
The time spent in Japan is a huge part of the appeal. The condition underneath and overall feel of the car is noticeably better than UK equivalents, and it is clear it has been properly cared for throughout its life.
For me, the standout thing is how usable it is. It has the character and rarity of something a bit different, but still works as an easy everyday vehicle with good space, great visibility and all the right features.
It is one of those cars that just feels right as soon as you drive it, and they are getting increasingly hard to find in this condition and specification.
