Description
Bought in June 2019, I'm reluctantly selling it as I have ridden only just over 3000 miles since, and I need the space.
When I bought the bike. it had a four speed engine from the sixties in it. I sourced a replacement 5 speed engine and fitted that.
The V5C shows the correct frame and engine numbers.
I also have the original Spanish matricula and number plate.
The engine is built to 24 Horas spec, i. e. the gearing is the same, higher first gear.
The engine has had a rebore/ new Wossner piston about 2000 miles ago, and has been converted to 12V/ electronic ignition with an Electrex alternator and electronic ignition.
Some rewiring has been done to fit a handlebar lights/ indicator control, repeater LEDs on the dash panel, and a USB output.
I fitted refurbished speedo and tacho clocks. The actual mileage covered from new is not known.
A new Amal 627 has also been fitted.
New brake shoes front and rear have been fitted.
Please note that the Quadlock phone mount has been removed.
£2150 onoVery usable bike now fitted with indicators and converted to 12V, enabling the use of a USB outlet, and a decent headlight.
