Description
1989 Rolls-Royce Bespoke Jankel Limosine Silver Spur with just 16, 700 kilometers / 10, 100 miles since new. Starts and Runs Excellent currently having rear hydraulic suspension spheres replaced and new tires fit. Originally shipped to Japan market from Germany and then onto USA where it was part of a collection in New York and now New Jersey. Easy to drive and handles surprisingly tight. Very nice road manners even on curvy country drives whether at command in the driver's seat or lounging with friends in the passenger area. Single seat bottom electrically moves out into chaise type seating arrangement for the ultimate relaxation. Video and Audio system working. What a fun way to go out with some friends to an event !
Recently had $12, 000 invested in new accumulators, new rear spheres, and since photos taken, it has received new tires all around. There have been several additional cosmetic updates and improvements to better dial in this fabulous car.
Note: Since photos were taken a few weeks ago, new tires have been fit to the car, mounted and balanced, and new rear suspension spheres for the hydraulic leveling and rear dampers. New photos coming.
We welcome inspections by you or your expert.
Thank you for your interest! The Jankel cars typically took about 18-24 months to complete. This car began as a 1987 Silver Spur and by the time Robert Jankel had completed it in order to be titled and registered it was 1989. Jankel was one of the top coachbuild limo constructors of the 1980s and 1990s this is not your typical low quality stretched car, it is well engineered to drive excellent, support its weight and that of passengers and cargo, and maintain excellent manners. The car was previously part of a collection in NY and is now part of one of the finest collections of RR/ Bentley motorcars in North America. Incredible low mileage.
