Description

THE SUPERCAR
The Porsche 911 has been an icon in the sports car segment for a very long time. The design, which has looked the same for years and is essentially only modernized, still seems to serve Porsche well. Every time, Porsche manages to upgrade the car, and actually, nothing is going backwards. Sure, the 911 gets heavier over the years, but naturally, this is a trend that is flowing through the entire automotive world.

When you say 'Porsche', car enthusiasts (and even non-enthusiasts) immediately mention the 911. For many people, the 996 and 997 are the last true 911's. Without too many (mandatory) safety features, without too much digital hassle. Just enough.

The Turbo is, with the exception of the GT2, the fastest version Porsche offered in the 997. 1 generation. The GT2 is more of a fast track monster (along with the GT3), and the Turbo is the supercar/ cruiser for the road. Just a bit more understated, but with super-fast acceleration and simply comfortable from A to B.

MAINTENANCE HISTORY
This car was originally delivered and registered in Dubai, UAE. The first owner purchased a 'Warranty Sales Scheme' later. The car was driven there for the first 8 years of its life and received all its services properly over the years.

In 2018, the car was sold and and an attempt was made to import it into Belgium. Due to the inspection method regarding emissions, it could not be registered in Belgium. The car was then sold to the current Dutch owner who successfully registered the car in the Netherlands. Therefore, the car now has a valid registration with a valid emission certificate. This 911 can be registered in any country without a problem.

After the import, the car covered some more kilometers and had a complete maintenance at Porsche Centre Groningen (the Netherlands) and is now for sale at HW Exclusive.
Since the last service until now the car has only driven around 3000 kilometers.

The car comes with all possible paperwork. This includes details of the specialist garages in Dubai, the complete import process is documented, and maintenance specifications regarding the last service at the Dutch Porsche dealer. All of this comes with the car in a Porsche folder. A BEAUTIFUL CONVERGENCE OF STYLE
The Turbo we are now offering is finished in the beautiful color combination of metallic black with a red leather interior. Additionally, the silver decal set adds just the right amount that you, as a proud owner, want to show off: I am just a little faster than you. This is more than a standard black 911. This one has style. And not in a flashy way, but simply subtly.

The silver decals complement the silver accents in the interior and go perfectly with the red leather, which is in excellent condition. Sure, the car is from 2008 and has some signs of wear. The most visible traces of this are in the carbon fiber trim. Fortunately, nothing that cannot be repaired, and the car is worth it. It is a (future) classic that can be driven with pleasure for years to come.

VARIABLE TURBO GEOMETRY
At Porsche, a new generation 911 does not simply mean a facelift. Porsche develops truly new technology for new models. To start right away with the most remarkable aspect: The 997. 1 Turbo is the first turbocharged petrol car to feature variable turbo geometry. This technology has existed on diesels for a number of years, but this 911 is the first petrol car with this technology. What does that mean in practice? It ensures that the flow of exhaust gases through the compressor is always optimally tuned to the conditions, so that optimal performance is available over a wider rev range.

By comparison: The GT3 RS has essentially the same engine, but without a turbo. If you happen to pull up next to a GT3 at a traffic light, you can certainly do a sprint, because it has no less than 65 hp more than your opponent. That brings the total to 480 hp, putting you close to the magical 500 hp mark. If you want to exceed that, tuning is still an option, but believe us, those 480 hp are more than enough. And perhaps more importantly: 620 Nm of torque! That makes it possible to go from 0-100 in 3. 7 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km/ h with the 3. 6-liter boxer. In comparison: 0. 2 liters more than the previous generation 911.
