We are extremely proud to offer this unique BMW E36 to the market for the first time since an extensive restoration and M54 engine conversion at renowned M Kraft BMW Specialist of Norwich, famous across the UK for their ‘OEM Style’ restorations.
It started life as a very late ‘99/ T’ 318is Coupe, finished in the iconic Hellrot Red Metallic from new with genuine M Sport specification from factory - rare in itself…
The car has then been subject to a plethora of modifications courtesy of M Kraft:
Engine and Drivetrain:
M54 B30 engine conversion from the legendary 330ci E46, paired with the
6 Speed Manual from the E36 M3 Evolution, offering significant power and torque at any speed or revs. This installation looks factory - the engine mounts have been modified, ECU coded correctly, factory Electronic driveway protection retained.
All preventative maintenance has been done on this block during installation including Crank Shells, Oil Pump gear drive welded, wired fan, etc.
M52 Exhaust Manifolds and Scorpion Back Box, although retains an M52 Cat Mid Section for sensible road use.
Limited Slip Differential from E36 M3 Evolution with custom propshaft, M3 Subframe and upgraded driveshafts, doff bushes, rear hubs, stub axle replacement.
Steering:
Upgraded to BMW Purple Tag steering rack (quicker ratio rack for sharper handling).
System bled with fresh fluid, tracking and steering geometry re-aligned.
Suspension:
Supplied and installed BC Racing coilovers (height and damping adjustable).
Full suspension geometry setup after installation.
Braking System:
Installed BMW 330i front & rear brake setup (larger calipers and discs).
Upgraded to BMW M3 Evo brake servo for improved braking pressure and feel.
System flushed and filled with performance brake fluid.
Wheels & Tyres:
Installed BMW Style 24 wheels.
Brand new Uniroyal RainSport tyres (full set, balanced).

100% turn key, MOT, new tyres - drive away and enjoy today! I would say it feels as quick as a non Evo M3 or much like a B3 Alpina of the E36 generation as it is quite subtle. Even standard 325i and 328i cars are fetching five figures this summer…
