- And more... We specified this John Cooper Works as a factory order in 2022, after a long time in MINI ownership. These cars are the last of the great Minis, being the last John Cooper Works available in a manual, and the last offered with the wonderful Bentley-esque leather interior as an option.
It has been a wonderful car to own and enjoy. My wife has driven this car daily, and it has been her pride and joy. We are both car enthusiasts, and it has never wanted for anything, having had full MINI and, more recently, BMW Specialist service history. On delivery, the car benefited from full paint correction, ceramic coating, and front-end PPF and has only ever been washed regularly and carefully with Bilthamber products.
The interior is unmarked and still has the wonderful smell of leather. The specification is particularly unique, not only in appearance but also in functionality. We specified the car with options that are usually overlooked, such as the Intelligent Adaptive Suspension (which improves ride quality and handling), and roof rails, which allow for mounting of the genuine MINI Roof Bar system - this latter option transforms the car into a genuinely usable hot-hatch, especially for those who love outdoor sports, or need to occasionaly carry more luggage. We specified the 17" wheels over the larger and more ubiquitous 18" wheels for the sake of ride comfort and handling, and the car now comes fitted with a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres.
Sadly, work and life commitments mean that we must move this wonderful JCW on to its new owner. We will be truly sad to see it go as there are few, if any, other cars in existence that can offer such a wonderful blend of quality, luxury and performance in a timeless, iconic and compact package.
