I purchased this bike just under 4 years ago. It has 3 former keepers. It is road tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt.
The bike came with the frame, stands, swingarm, driveshaft tube all powder coated, but with very little history so I decided to work through the bike and get it up to a really nice presentable condition. It's not been over-restored but it is, in my opinion, a nice bike.
Over the last few years I have:
Had the tank repainted professionally.
Replaced both tyres.
Replaced the timing chain.
Replaced the water pump seal.
Serviced the bike with new oil, coolant, filters etc.
Rebuilt the front brakes and master cylinder, including new fluid.
Rebuilt the forks with new seals and oil.
Rebuilt the sprag clutch with a service kit.
Rebuilt the starter motor.
Cleaned the carbs.
Replaced handlebars and indicators.
Replaced front mudguard with good used unit.
So as you can see I've put quite a bit of time, money and effort into it to get it to the standard it is up to.
It's now time for a new owner to take it to the next level, or just simply get out there and enjoy riding it.
