Peugeot 306 XSI 2. 0 16v 5 door in Diablo red pearl. Current mileage is 134942 but this may go up with use. This is a lovely survivor 306 that has been cherished over its almost 30 years. It has a service history that fills a file box and totals over £9000 pounds. Every receipt is here for the car, from the original order form to the last piece of work that was carried out.
From new the 306 was specified with the following options on top of the factory specification.
Drivers airbag
Passenger front airbag
Driver and passenger side airbags
Sunroof - both tilt and slide work
Boot mounted CD changer
Lumbar adjustment on drivers seat
Rear head restraints
Front and rear luxury mats.
As standard, the car has ABS, AC (working and lovely and cold), electric front windows and mirrors, front fog lights, central locking, leather steering wheel and folding rear seats and lovely 15” Laser alloy wheels with Yokohama tyres all round - this extends to the spare wheel also.
The interior is in very good condition with minimal wear to the seat fabric, door cards in the front show the usual glue failure but the fabric is intact and unmarked, luxury mats are fitted front and rear along with a boot mat. All controls work as designed - electric windows and mirrors operate as designed, the sunroof slides and tilts without issue and the pull over sun shade is present and working.
The remote central locking also works as does the deadlock system and there are 3 keys, 2 remote and 1 emergency key.
The standard radio is fitted, works from the steering column stalk and the bottom mounted Clarion cd changer is present.
Externally the car presents well but does show some of its almost 30 years. The bonnet and roof show some bird dropping marking, bonnet also has its fair share of stone chips.
The passenger side front wing has either been replaced or painted, not the best job up close but acceptable.
Small repair to the drivers rear quarter panel shows some signs of filler cracking but took me several washes before I really noticed it.
Small chip to paint at the rear passenger door dog leg - haven’t had a chance to touch it in- I’d rather potential buyers see it as it is.
No major dents and the only place I can see lacquer peel or failure is around the rear window/ boot seal. The car had a replacement rear screen many years ago and the incorrect rear screen and seal were fitted - phase 1 flush screen and seal fitted. There is also a small amount of corrosion in this area. I believe this is linked to the screen replacement.
All badges are present.
Original equipment mudflaps are fitted front and rear with the correct XSI red badging.
Briefly from the history, the car has had a clutch at 75k, starter motor at 110k, radiator and bottom hose at 119k, centre and rear exhaust sections at 126/ 127k, new steering ram and gaitors at 129k and lastly an AC condenser at 130k.
The car drives really nicely, performs very strongly, stops and steers as it should and all controls operate correctly.
I currently have it on a cherished transfer which can come with the car by agreement - there are also some spares and a Haynes manual.
Please check the MOT history for the car, it really is amazing with only 2 fails recorded in its lifetime, both fairly minor and easily rectified.

I am 15 minutes from George Best Belfast City Airport, 20 minutes from Belfast Port (covering both Scotland and Liverpool ferries) and 40 minutes from Belfast International Airport.
The car is still within the UK so does not need to be re-registered or any duties paid - we are no different from Glasgow, London or Cardiff.
The car can also be delivered to mainland GB at cost after payment.
The only reason for moving this on is a car I’ve been chasing for 25 years has become available and it’s one of 7 left, so need the funds and space.
