Description
1973-4 Ducati 750GT with very rare factory electric start and in even rarer blue.
The engine is mechanically quiet for a bevel and runs smoothly in a jewel like fashion as it should. The gearbox is fantastic. New tyres on original Borrani rims. It is originally a Scarab brake bike, I have converted it to Brembo but still have both original master cylinder and caliper. Brake is single sided as double was an option at the time. Forks have been rebuilt and new seals installed.
Electric start is actually a lot more elegant than on later square case bikes and is incorporated into overall round case design nicely. It starts on the button and sounds lovely through it's native Contis. It's not a garage queen and has been used and fettled into a rideable bike. I bought the bike in Italy and have paid well in excess of current prices for this rare 750 but time to reduce the collection to a more manageable size. It's absolutely on the button and ready to go.
