8 previous owners during its 49 year history. I purchased this over 2 1/ 2 years ago and sadly due to long covid and back issue I have to sell. The past year it has not been used, other than a run up to temperature on a regular basis. Recent battery, VGC tyres and spare unused. Just serviced with new oil and filter . Diff oil changed.. Diff was replaced by previous owner along with half shafts, new alternator, new fuel pump , electronic ignition, with new distributor cap and rotor arm. Gaz adjustable dampers all round. Stainless steel exhaust system, oil cooler added and a BT unit and speakers fitted. Original radio/ cassette fitted and in working order.
The car comes with both hard top and a hardly used soft top with full tonneau cover which can be zipped for just one occupant.
Runs and starts well and Overdrive fitted for 3rd and 4th gear selection -working also.
Car has always been dry stored in a warm carpet fitted garage by myself and garage stored by previous owners.
Minilite wheels fitted with up graded stainless steel front caliper pistons and stainless brake hoses. Isolator switch under bonnet.
Carbs have recently rebalanced.
Massive file of invoices, original sales brochure/ handbook and service book. 2 sets of keys included. The car was valued in 2024 by the Triumph Sports Six Club at a guaranteed payout in case of insurance loss at £15, 000.
The restoration has been done to a high standard and the car wants for nothing.
A perfect car , hood down for the summer and with a choice of hoods and a good working heater make it an all year round car if required. Although this car has never seen salt roads since rebuild.
