For sale here is my 1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500
63020 miles and only 2 previous owners

Original 1500 engine with desirable overdrive gearbox
The car was last on the road in 2008 and has been stored since so I’m now selling it as a project.
The engine starts and runs well but the clutch cylinder is stuck so it doesn’t currently move under its own power. It will therefore need to be trailered to its new home and does roll very easily for loading.
Comes with a soft top and also a fibreglass hardtop (needs a new rear window) plus a few nice extras including a Mountney steering wheel, alloy rocker cover and radiator panels, and a stainless-steel exhaust.
As you can see in the photos the body is very straight and has nice panel gaps but it does now have some rust in the usual Spitfire places. Original steel bonnet, boot lid and even original steel front quarter valances.
It’s a very complete and original car, with low miles and low owners. All the right bits are present plus the desirable overdrive ‘box so it will make a great project for someone. It is now MOT exempt and also eligible for free road tax.
