A total of only 701 Plymouth GTX Convertibles were built in 1969 with both automatic and manual transmissions. That alone makes this car extremely rare to find anywhere in the world today.
It gets even more exceptional considering this particular car was ordered with extensive factory options, which was uncommon at the time. A high-quality repaint was done 16 years ago on a bare metal, straight body. The matching-numbers 440 engine has been rebuilt and has never been overbored. The convertible top and its mechanism were restored two years ago. It is equipped with a Centerforce clutch and brand new 8" + 10" Race Master wheels fitted with 235/ 60-15 and 295/ 50-15 tires.
