The XJ-S, with over 20 years of production, was an absolute longseller in the Jaguar range. As the model line was initially offered only as a coupe, especially in the USA there were louder calls for a full cabriolet. The American importer then commissioned, with backing from the manufacturer, Hess & Eisenhardt to build XJ-S convertibles. In two years up to the appearance of the production cabrios, a total of 838 examples were produced.
With the open-top vehicle, the difference to the later production cabrio is immediately evident – the roof sits noticeably flatter. This makes the straight, stylish line of the XJ-S, made for a Cabrio, carry exceptionally well. An absolute beauty!
The white paint and light interior emphasise this even more. In contrast, the black soft top stands out.
Our vehicle was imported in 2009 by the current owner from the USA.
The owner has, since 2017, as part of an extensive partial restoration during ongoing operation, invested a lot of work and money in the car to bring it to its current top condition.

- Seat leather and leather door panels renewed
- Carpets renewed
- Wood veneer renewals
- Front headlamps renewed

- Shock absorbers and springs renewed
- Ignition and starter renewed
- Vehicle seals renewed
- Engine overhauled (all injectors, both cylinder heads, valves, exhaust manifold, oil cooler, etc.)
- Air conditioning completely renewed

Almost €40, 000 have been invested in this Jaguar. Get in and drive off!
The entire vehicle presents itself in near-new condition.
The XJ-S has a total mileage of 110, 000 kilometres.
The owner is selling this beautiful car for reasons of age and to shrink his collection.
