Description
Acquired from family when they bought a new car in 2018 and now showing a total of 3 owners on the V5C.
The service history has receipts for the last two owners and the maintenance record book is dealer stamped for the early years. The car presents in good condition with a couple of areas where some bumper trim plastic has made contact with an immoveable object and come out slightly worse off which you can see in the photos. There is some slight lacquer loss on the roof / windscreen area but no visible rusty areas on the bodywork.
I also have a later model 5 door and what's noticeable in comparison is just how nice these 3 doors are to drive. They change direction very easily making them ideal for nipping about in town traffic and dead easy to park. The auto box works as it should making this an ideal shopping and general runnabout.
The a/ c has been regassed but no longer chills as it should but everything else in the cabin is up to Toyota standard.
The interior is in very good condition showing very few signs of its 22 years. As can be seen in the photos, the rear seats are foldable and can also be easily removed by those with a strong back as they are 'solidly' constructed but make for very flexible transport to the recycling centre.
There's been a big resurgence lately in CD's and the car is so equipped allowing its new owner to finally find a place to enjoy their collection now we're all forced on to streaming services. This is new old skool.
The revvy chain cam engine pulls extremely well and you can zip along, whilst being a swb car avoiding potholes is childs play with the lightest steering inputs.
I see 3 or 4 of these cars per week such is their popularity and legendary build quality. ULEZ compliant. Happy to answer any questions.
