Offered for sale is a 2003 Alfa Romeo 147 GTA with 12 months MOT and 115k miles. An original RHD car, with a six speed manual box.
I have owned the car for three and a half years and only used it sparingly in the summer, it is parked off road and indoors in the winter.
The work undertaken during my ownership includes a cambelt change and upgraded driveshafts, both supplied and fitted by Autolusso in Bournemouth. Last year refurbished 330mm calipers and discs were fitted to replace the 305mm units, and a Weichers strut brace. Sundry items were replaced too, such as expansion tank, and a rear wheel bearing. It benefits from a Qualfe differential, fitted before my ownership.
The car is solid and drives well, it would benefit from cosmetically improving, and has a slight blow from the flexible exhaust section, which I will replace before a sale. Lots of invoices included for work done over the years. Having owned many Alfa's, this was on my wishlist, and has offered many smiles per mile. Utterly ridiculous vehicle, that is super engaging, and a very intoxicating, analogue drive. The complete opposite of today's nannying, driver aid saturated vehicles. I am relocating to Cornwall for work, and as the car is not really used very often, have decided to offer it for sale at a reasonable price based on it's condition.
