Description
1966 Gilera 125
A very attractive Gilera 125, a stylish and well-regarded Italian lightweight motorcycle from the 1960s.
This bike formed part of my late father’s collection of classic Italian motorcycles. He acquired the machine and carried out restoration work himself, with the bike now presenting very well overall and clearly benefiting from careful attention.
The frame was hand painted during restoration, with the tank being professionally resprayed, and from my knowledge the wheels are original and have been professionally rebuilt. The original seat has also been retained and professionally reupholstered.
The bike is also accompanied by its original Italian paperwork.
The motorcycle has been dry stored as part of a collection and has not been started since the restoration, as it was displayed indoors. As such, it will require recommissioning before being returned to the road.
