One owner since 1988; built for personal use with care over time, but now it is time to let it go to a new home.
The car is finished with black leather interior with white stripes. The seats are original, atmospheric, the rest of the interior has been renewed.
Imported to Finland from the USA in 1989. Fully restored and registered as a historic vehicle in Finland in 2002.
The engine has been improved (approx. +10% drilling => 1980 cc), new pistons and converted to run on unleaded fuel. All electrical wiring and brake lines have been renewed. The body has been restored, primed and repainted in a unique red color. The steering wheel, dashboard and gauges have been replaced, as well as the bumpers and several other parts. Also new starter motor, new front shock absorbers, new spoked wheels and front grill etc.
Fitted with a black mohair soft top.
Equipped with a sound system including woofer, amplifier, and radio/ CD player.
Discreetly hidden central electrical cut-off switch. 12V single battery.
Recent maintenance includes, also at The Grips Garage (British classic car specialist):
– engine oil, coolant and filters changed, window regulator repaired, speedometer cable renewed, tailgate lock system, front axle grease hub replaced, brakes serviced, carburettors serviced and adjusted etc.
Museum vehicle inspection valid until 05/ 2029.

The MG B is widely regarded as one of the defining classic British sports cars. Introduced in 1962, it combined a lightweight body with engaging driving characteristics and quickly gained popularity across a broad audience.
This example is an early “pull-handle” model. Imported from the United States in 1989, it has had one owner in Finland since and has been carefully restored to a high standard. The restoration covered the whole body, engine, electrical system, and interior, and was completed in 2002, when the car was registered as a museum vehicle.
Since the restoration, the car has only been driven only about 2, 300 miles (about 3, 700 km).
The engine runs smoothly and the transmission works well. The body and paintwork are in very good condition and the car has been stored in a heated garage.
Registered as a museum vehicle and inspected until May 2029.
The car is located in Helsinki, approximately 15 minutes from Helsinki Airport. Viewings by appointment.
