Rare "Exclusive" Factory Build | EPS IMS Bearing & Clutch Done | Fully Sorted
The Ultimate "Best of Both Worlds" 911
Offered for sale is a meticulously maintained, enthusiast-spec 996. 2 Targa. I have owned this car for 7 years, during which time I have proactively addressed every major 996 vulnerability. This is a rare manual glass-roof model, featuring the most desirable factory performance options and a complete history of care.
Unrivaled Provenance & History
Ownership: Just 5 previous owners over 24 years.
Documentation: Full Service History with original stamped book.
MOT Trail: Extraordinary record featuring every single MOT certificate dating back to 2006, providing total verification of the 88, 600 miles.
MOT: Exceptional long MOT until 26th April 2027.
Comprehensive Mechanical Peace of Mind
In addition to all regular maintenance items, the following preventative upgrades have been completed during my 7-year ownership:
IMS Bearing: Upgraded to the EPS (Eternal Patented System) cylindrical bearing.
Drivetrain: New Clutch, Rear Main Seal (RMS), and Gearbox Oil change.
Preventative Cooling: New Water Pump, Low-Temperature Thermostat, and Coolant Expansion Tank. Both Radiators and A/ C Condensers replaced by previous owner.
Suspension & Braking: Koni Special Active rear dampers (FSD), new rear top mounts, rear drop links, and new rear brake lines.

Cosmetic: Wheels professionally refurbished 7, 000 miles ago.
Rare Factory "Exclusive" Specification (Option Code 09991)
This car features a unique "boutique" build from the Porsche Exclusive department:
The Targa Roof: Fully functioning sliding glass roof and electric blind. Features the unique opening rear glass hatch.
XLF Factory Sports Exhaust (PSE): Set to permanent bypass mode for the classic flat-six howl (no "quiet-zone" intervention).
375/ 376 Hardback Sports Seats: Rare, highly supportive 2-way electric/ manual height seats.
Bose Sound System: High-end factory audio with multi-CD changer.
Arctic Silver Interior Pack: Factory-painted center console, dash trim, and instrument surround matching the Arctic Silver (L92U) exterior.
Additional Details: Full Black Leather (AH), Porsche crest headrests (XSC), and Aluminum gear/ handbrake inlays. The car is in very good condition and drives with the precision intended by Porsche, the roof and blind being in excellent working order, and the beautiful throaty refined exhaust tone from the factory fitted Porsche Sports Exhaust making it a sense of occasion on every drive.
In addition to the car's full service and maintenance record there is a large box file full of paperwork and history relating to the cars maintenance over the years including every MOT certificate dating back to 2006 and invoices totalling in excess of £20, 000.
As my now teenage children have outgrown the rear seats, I am reluctantly moving into a Jaguar S-Type R, and it is time for this lovely Targa to find its next long-term custodian.
