Description
With a heavy heart, the time has finally come to sell my TDR 250. With an imminent self build in progress, I need the funds to go towards my new project.
It's been a pleasure to own this genuine little bike and i will be sore to see it go.
After searching for 6 years prior to finding this bike, I knew it was the one as soon as i saw it for sale. Being a matching numbers UK bike, the right colour and being in unmessed standard form, it's a rarity to find like this.
It doesn't have stacks of history, due to having not covered so many miles, but does have details of new service parts like tyres and oil changes etc. The history folder does contain a reasonably complete MOT history consisting of MOT's and milages dating from 1996- 3951, 1997- 4402, 1998- 5206, 1999- 6842, 2000- 7870, 2001- 8041, 2002- 8309, 2003- 9679, 2004- 10340, 2005- 11071, 2006- 11582, 2007- 11724, 2008- 12834, 2009- 14398, 2010- 14479, 2011- 14550, 2013- 14570, 2014- 14700, 2015- 14883, 2016- 14935, 2017- 15066, 2018- 15131, 2020- 15158, 2025- 15315, 2026- 15335.
The overall condition is very good, although there are signs of use here and there, the side fairings have slight cracks where they mount onto the tank, and the original anodising on the forks is showing its age. That said, I prefered to leave it as is to reflect the originality of the bike as a bike is only original once. The tank is in great condition inside and out. Please study pics in detail to make you own mind up of the condition
The bike starts easily from hot or cold, runs well and provides lots of fun riding. It goes through the gears seemlessly and finding neutral isn't a struggle.
Included in the sale is an original TDR 250 brochure, genuine Yamaha toolkit including the under seat spanner, 2 keys and an original handbook.
Legitimate interest only please
